Job Context:
ADN DigiNet Limited is a leading technology company driving software innovation, data intelligence, and digital transformation. We build high-performance enterprise applications used by clients in fintech, telecom, and corporate sectors.
We are looking for a Android Developer (Kotlin, with understanding of Java) with 2 - 4 years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining Android apps. The role suits a developer who writes clean code, understands app lifecycle deeply, and enjoys turning UI/UX designs into reliable, production-grade experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop, maintain, and enhance native Android applications using Kotlin (and Java where needed).
· Implement pixel-perfect UI from Figma/Design specs, ensuring responsiveness across devices.
· Integrate RESTful APIs, handle JSON data, and manage offline data with Room/SQLite.
· Use MVVM architecture and Jetpack components for modular, testable code.
· Optimize app startup time, memory use, and network performance.
· Manage app versions and releases through Google Play Console.
· Debug, test, and fix issues to ensure stability on both high-end and low-end Android phones.
· Collaborate with backend and QA teams for smooth delivery of sprints.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
· 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Native Android development.
· Proficiency in Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, Coroutines, and Lifecycle components.
· Experience integrating REST APIs, Firebase, push notifications, and background services.
· Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
· Knowledge of Play Store submission process and crash analytics.
Preferred Skills:
· Strong understanding of Clean Architecture (MVVM/MVI) and dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger).
· Experience with Jetpack Compose or desire to learn it.
· Basic exposure to CI/CD, Firebase Analytics, and A/B testing.
· Previous experience in Fintech, Banking, or Telecom apps is a strong plus.
· Working knowledge of Flutter for cross-platform collaboration (optional).
