Lead DevOps

Job Context:

 

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead our DevOps and TechOps functions. This role is responsible for managing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, system monitoring, and ensuring high availability of production and development environments. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, team management, and system reliability across enterprise software platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & DevOps Management:

 

·   Lead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure across Azure and hybrid environments (including AWS/GCP if required)

·   Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for development teams using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins

·   Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or similar Infrastructure as Code tools

·   Implement and manage containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)·   Lead architectural design discussions and provide technical guidance to the development team.

·   Ensure secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure

·   Oversee server and network administration (Linux/Windows), firewall rules, and VPN configurations

 

Monitoring & Availability:

 

·   Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Azure Monitor)

·   Lead root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring system incidents

·   Define and enforce uptime targets and recovery objectives for critical services

 

 

Security & Compliance:

 

·   Enforce security standards and ensure system compliance with ISO 27001 and internal IT policies

·   Collaborate with the Information Security team to audit and harden infrastructure

 

Team Leadership & Coordination:

 

·   Manage a small but agile DevOps/TechOps team; mentor junior engineers

·   Work closely with software, QA, and data engineering teams to ensure stable deployments and environment parity

·   Maintain regular communication with department heads and update management on infrastructure KPIs, SLAs, and issues

Requirements:

Education:

 

·   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CSE/EEE/IT from a reputed university

 

Experience:

 

·   5+ years of relevant experience in DevOps/Infrastructure, including at least 2 years in a lead/managerial role

·   Proven track record of managing cloud environments, CI/CD workflows, and production operations

 

 

Technical Skills:

 

·   Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (VMs, VNets, Storage, AAD, NSGs, etc.)

·   Proficiency in CI/CD, automation, scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell)

·   Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices deployment

·   Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis) from an ops perspective

·   Practical understanding of system security, access control, backups, and disaster recovery

·   Experience working under ITIL-based service management frameworks is a plus

 

Preferred:

 

·   Industry certifications (Azure/AWS DevOps, Kubernetes, etc.

·   Experience in large-scale software/SaaS operations

·   Exposure to MLOps, serverless architecture, or hybrid cloud operations

·   Strong documentation and communication skills in English and Bangla

 

 

Job Location: Dhaka
