Manual SQA Engineer

Job Overview

 

ADN DigiNet Limited is a leading technology company driving software engineering and digital transformation. We are looking for a Manual SQA Engineer to join our Technology team.

The role involves executing manual testing, ensuring software quality, and collaborating with teams to deliver reliable solutions for enterprise and global clients.

 

Responsibilities:

- Review and analyze requirements, technical specifications, and design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

- Develop comprehensive and well-structured manual test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on project requirements.

- Execute manual test cases for functional, integration, regression, system, UAT, and exploratory testing.

- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking systems (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira).

- Communicate bugs and issues to the development team and collaborate with team members to resolve issues.

- Retest resolved defects and perform regression testing to verify fixes.

- Participate in requirement reviews, design meetings, and sprint planning sessions.

- Prepare test data and maintain testing environments as needed.

- Provide detailed and accurate test reports, contributing to release decisions.

- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and QA methodologies.

 

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience of 2-4 years as a manual QA engineer, software tester, or similar role.

- Strong knowledge of software development and QA methodologies, techniques, and processes.

- Hands-on experience with issue and project tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira).

- Ability to design test cases, test scenarios, and create clear and concise documentation.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality products.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in Agile/Scrum (SAFe) development environments.

- Familiarity with SQL and general database concepts.

- Experience with APIs, web and Mobile application testing.

- Knowledge of basic automation concepts (Selenium Webdriver , Appium with Java and PostMan).
